New Holland Avenue.)
Snow/ Inclement Weather Schedules and Delays:
The Lancaster Science Factory follows the same closing and delay schedule as the School District of Lancaster. If the School
District of Lancaster is closed or delayed so will the Science Factory. For weekend schedule changes, see the cancellation/ delays listing on the WGAL-TV website.
Hours of Operation:
September – June:
Tuesday – Saturday 10:00am
to 5:00pm. Sunday Noon to 5:00pm. Closed Monday.
July – August:
Monday – Saturday 10:00am to
5:00pm. Sunday Noon to 5:00pm.
Holidays:
The Factory is open on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, President's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, and Veteran's Day.
Admission :
$5.00 Children 12 and under,
accompanied by an adult.
$7.00 for adults.
Special pricing is available
for field trips.
Visit Duration:
Average visit time is between
one and two hours.
Accessability:
The main exhibit gallery, the
Castagna Learning Center and all exhibits are wheelchair accessable.
Membership:
Five membership options are available:
family, Family Plus, Grandparent, Senior and Individual.
Parking:
Free parking for Science Center
visitors is located directly across the street from the Science Factory.

From York and Points West
(From Route 30 East):
Take US-30 E to the PA-23 exit
towards New Holland Ave/ New Holland Pike. Take the ramp toward New
Holland Ave/ Downtown Lancaster. Merge onto New Holland Pike.
Follow until New Holland Pike becomes New Holland Ave. The Science
Factory will appear on your left.
From
Philadelphia and Points East (from 76 West):
Merge onto I-76 toward Valley
Forge (Portions Toll). Take Exit 286 toward US – 222/ Reading/
Lancaster. Merge onto Reading Interchange (Portions Toll).
Reading Interchange becomes Colonel Howard Blvd / Spur Rd. Merge
onto US-222 south via the ramp on the left. Merge onto US-30 E
via the exit on the left toward Coatesville. Take the PA-23 exit
towards New Holland Ave/ New Holland Pike. Take the ramp toward New
Holland Ave/ Downtown Lancaster. Merge onto New Holland Pike.
Follow until New Holland Pike becomes New Holland Ave. The Science
Factory will appear on your left.
From Lebanon and Points
North (From 501 North):
Take Lititz Pike/ PA 501 South
towards Lancaster City. After you pass Stauffer Park on your left
turn Left before the bridge at the Stockyard Inn Restaurant onto Marshall
Ave. Turn right to stay on Marshall Ave. Turn Right onto
Juliet Ave. Turn Left onto N. Plum St. At the end of N.
Plum St. you will see the Science Factory.
From Lebanon and Points
North (From Fruitville Pike):
Take Fruitville Pike until
it becomes PA-72 S. PA-72 S becomes N. Prince St. / US-222 / PA-272
S. Turn Left onto W. Frederick St. Turn Right onto N. Plum
St. At the end of N. Plum St. you will see the Science Factory.
From
Buck and Points South (From Lancaster Pike / PA-272 N):
Take Lancaster Pike N / PA-272
N until it turns into S. Queen St. Turn Slight Right onto Church
St / US-222 N / PA 272 N. Turn Left on S. Lime St. / US-222 N
/ PA 272 N. Turn Right onto E. Chestnut St. / PA-23 E. Turn
Left onto N. Plum St. Turn Right onto New Holland Avenue.
The Science Factory will appear on your right.
